IoT will help to digitize the real world
IoT devices will create a digital copy of the real world: thanks to the data from various smart devices, an actual copy of the environment can be done.
"At the dawn of the AI systems creation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a laboratory was set up to work, intending to equip all the physical objects with the special means helping to report their location and state to a gigantic computer. Everything was done to teach the computer to understand how the world functions as well as how things move and what happens to them. This ambitious goal remained unfulfilled, but in the meantime, radio frequency tag technology was invented. In the beginning, it was used in large shopping centres, but today it has again become the means of monitoring physical objects to maintain their connection with cybernetic counterparts in the virtual world", - the experts claim.
Scientists believe that such labels can follow any object, and other IoT devices can generate real-world data.
At the same time, there is no need to create a digital world, especially. Experts expect that digitization of reality will be possible with the development and implementation of building management systems. Studying social behavior, and the possibilities of complemented and virtual reality are among the options for practical use of digitalization.
