Smart plug setup: how to install and hook up the outlet?
— unpack the smart outlet, plug it into your electrical socket and turn it on;
— activate the device in the Perenio Smart app or Apple HomeKit and add it to Google Home (if required);
— now you can configure commands in the app or using voice assistants, as well as set the timer and working scenario following the instructions.
In order to connect the smart plug to Google Home, you should first activate it in Perenio Smart. This is not required for Apple HomeKit.
Smart plug app: how to connect Power Link in the Perenio Smart Home app
Check that the control center or IoT-router Elegance Perenio is installed and connected to the network using Wi-Fi/Ethernet. Open the Perenio Smart Home app, tap + in the top right corner of the “Devices” tab, select “Add new device” and choose the plug. Wait until the device scanning starts, then press and hold the reset button until the indicator light starts blinking. Assign the device name and choose the room for installation (or create a new room).
How to connect a smart plug via Google Home, Amazon Alexa
In order to control your smart plug via Google Home or Amazon Alexa, you should first activate it in the Perenio Smart app. To add the Power Link outlet, follow the instructions in the relevant app from Google, Amazon.
