Technological European brand Perenio launches a new smart plug Power Link Wi-Fi to the market. It's a device for remote control of household appliances via free mobile app Perenio Smart, that works without a control center. It allows to use scenarios and monitor the power consumption of devices.
User just needs to set up the Power Link Wi-Fi into a power grid and activate it in the app. It is one of the most powerful sockets on the market in a compact size and stylish design. It works without a control center, just set up in a couple of minutes via free mobile app. This type of socket connects directly via Wi-Fi, does not require additional equipment: a control center or an IoT router. The device is assigned its own IP address and is controlled remotely via the application. Wi-Fi sockets have additional functionality: a countdown timer, using scenarios and setting up schedules, energy consumption tracking.
Users can control household appliances through Power Link Wi-Fi remotely both via the mobile app Perenio Smart and virtual assistants: Alice from Yandex, Marusa from Mail.ru, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa.
The available functionality for remote control is: turn on/off, a countdown timer, using scenarios, setting up schedules, monitoring energy consumption statistics.
On/Off status for the connected device can be checked out in the app. In case the forgotten iron is turned on, connected via a smart plug, the user just needs to turn it off in the Perenio Smart. The user can set a schedule for the operation of the device. For example, a boiler turns on and off at the required frequency on schedule. Monitoring energy consumption in the app helps users manage their electricity consumption rationally and reduce utility bills.
By connecting a device via Power Link Wi-Fi, users make smart home appliances: from a TV or an audio system to a heater or boiler. The Perenio smart plug can be used to connect the most powerful devices and even multiple devices at the same time when using split outlets. The total power of connected devices for Power Link Wi-Fi in an ordinary city apartment or private house is 4 kW (16 A) - this is the maximum indicator among all possible smart sockets on the market, on average it is from 1.8 kW to 3.5 kW. Power Link will withstand a one-time connection, for example, a heater or dishwasher (2 kW) and a kettle or iron (up to 2 kW). The power consumption of each electrical appliance is indicated in its technical documentation. At its peak, Power Link Wi-Fi can withstand voltages up to 5kW (20A).
This socket has a soft-touch covering. For the purpose of safety and childproofing, smart plugs Power Link Wi-Fi is equipped with special protective caps. The plastic guards that cover the electrical contacts of the plug will remain closed even if a kid tries to insert a finger, pencil or any other item into the outlet. The device has protection class IP 20.
