A smart outlet is an electric socket that can be controlled by remote commands or automatically. Such an outlet could become your first step towards a smart home.
Installation of a smart outlet is very easy and requires no special skills, the device is compact, function-rich and affordable. The price of Power Link is 39 €.
The smart outlet can be controlled using a smartphone app. Any device plugged into such an outlet can be controlled and programmed — e.g., turn on the coffee machine at 8 a.m. or the air conditioner at 7 p.m. You can turn off appliances remotely using your smartphone. In case of power surges, the outlet will disconnect to prevent your appliances from short-circuiting.
